In 1985 a small group of Barossans loaded up their trucks with local produce and drove to Adelaide to showcase their wares. Over three decades later, Barossa Gourmet Weekend holds a special place in the hearts of locals and visitors as the region celebrates its largest celebration of local food and wine.

The celebration of our world class food and wine destination is complemented with our spirit of sharing: Barossa hospitality. Our event presenters ask you to discover something new in experiences hosted across the Barossa Valley. Experiences that immerse you in our food, landscapes, music and wine.

Local Chef and PorkstarTM ambassador; Saskia Beer, prepares a decadent Barossa pork feast to tantalise the taste buds. Be welcomed with canapes and pre dinner drinks on the Barossa Ranges Terrace, followed by three pork inspired courses in Château Tanunda’s beautiful Long Room. Featuring a main course of whole suckling pigs, this menu is designed purely for lovers of pork. All beverages included featuring some special release Château Tanunda wines presented by a Château Tanunda wine ambassador.
